I'm often asked where people should start with my books, so here is a quick description of each of my series so you can see which one calls to you!

Epic Fantasy

My Andvell Saga is a nine-book series broken down into 3 trilogies. Although they do run in chronological order, I wrote them so they can be read however you choose (with just enough detail from the previous to--hopefully--convince you to go back and read the others after).

Meratis Trilogy: my first published trilogy and still my bestselling. Jeff is a writer from Montreal who wakes up in the world of his best-selling series. Just a regular guy suddenly being chased by dragons, targeted by an evil wizard, and taunted by characters he believes he wrote--though that have other opinions.

(Strong language, some gore, low heat)

Cadis Trilogy: Venn was introduced in the Meratis Trilogy, and I loved this swearing, bloodthirsty cinnamon roll so much, she needed her own series. In this one, she sets out to stop a war with an enchanted army with the help of her friends and a warbear.

(Strong language, some gore, no heat)

Nayis Trilogy: Naya is the daughter of two of the characters. She's bound to a dragon, but the bond is slowly killing her, so she's trying to figure that out while dealing with a global threat.

(Mild language, some violence, no heat)

Urban Fantasy

The Dark Descendants: The series inspired by Agatha Christie. It begins with a prequel novella - seven supernaturals wind up trapped in a room, and they need to figure out which one of them killed the man who trapped them there. Following those events, each character gets their own book/mystery before they're reunited in the finale.

(Mild language, medium violence, medium heat)

The Ghostmaker Trilogy: Jet Dawson is a task force captain with Supernatural, Magical and Occult Affairs Canada. When half her team is wiped out by a supernatural bomb, she finds herself in the middle of a government conspiracy trying to figure out what's going on. (This series inspired the upcoming spinoff series The Hour of Witches)

(Strong language, medium gore, medium heat)

The Immortal Sorceress: Kat Palon has been around for 900 years, and she's done with the world and her ex, the servant of Death who ties her to this world. Unfortunately for her, her past is determined to drag Kat back into action and Emrick is determined to help her survive it.

(Medium language, medium gore, medium heat)
