It has been a busy month. LIGHT OF THE STYGIAN ORB is out in the world and is receiving lots of positive feedback, almost immediately followed by requests for the finale. I am very happy to say that everything is well on schedule for a release and wrap-up of the final IE book in early 2018, and while my emotions are running the gamut about that, I’m looking forward to sharing it with you.

The best part is that it’s not a long wait to hear more about it. Cover Goddess Ravven has achieved the goal of creating a breathtaking seven-book series, with the cover for GODS OF THE STONE ORACLE being high among my favourites. This beauty will be going out to newsletter subscribers (Regular Updates and Just the Big Events folks) on Thursday, November 23, and to the rest of the world on Monday, November 27. But it won’t be the cover reveal you’re used to from me. I took the time to put together a bit of something special to really give the series the attention it deserves, and I hope you’ll enjoy it.

For those of you in the Ottawa area who want your first glimpse of the cover to be in person, you can find me at The Book Company (Bank St) on Saturday, November 25 where I will be signing books 1-5 (and prequel), and will have a copy of the cover on display in beautiful 8 1/2 x 11 form.

Starting on Thursday, my campaign to bring The Invisible Entente to as many eyes as possible really kicks off. There will be more details to come, but if you want a head start, hit your social media accounts with the hashtag #IEAssemble (IG, Twitter, FB), sharing either photos of the series, your favourite quotations, or simply your love of this ragtag team, and you’ll be included to win one of a whole bunch of prizes I have planned (ebooks, signed paperbacks, the 8 1/2 x 11 poster of the final cover, bookmarks and postmarks). So spread the news, include the hashtag, and keep an eye out for more news from me on when prizes will be announced.

If you don’t feel like waiting until winter 2018 for something new to read, head on over to The Raven’s Quill blog, and jump into Ill Met by Moonlight, the blog serial I’ve started that needs your participation. Voting has closed for this month, but stay turned for Chapter 2, which will be posted on Monday, December 4 and will kick off the next round of voting for what happens next.

On the NaNoWriMo2017 front, VEILFIRE, Book 1 of the Nayis Trilogy (a new Andvell series), is nearly 3/4 of the way complete. It’s great to be back in this world and revisiting old friends, even if they’re in loads of trouble and the only person who seems able to help is a seventeen-year-old girl who is in way over her head. I have no concrete plans of release dates for this series yet, but I can say I’m hoping to get the first one out in 2018.

That’s it from me for this month, but I’m sure there will be more developments soon to come!
